Pathfinder Consulting was founded on a simple principle:

You cannot understand risk without understanding the threat.

For too many organizations, cybersecurity has become an exercise in frameworks, findings, dashboards, and compliance. Those things have value—but checking every box does not necessarily make an organization secure.

Pathfinder takes a different approach.

We begin with the mission. We identify what matters. We examine the threat. Then we help leaders understand their actual risk and determine what to do about it.

Experience behind Pathfinder

Founder Troy Willett brings more than 25 years of experience across information security, cybersecurity leadership, national security, cyber operations, intelligence, critical infrastructure, and technology program management.

His career includes extensive service within the U.S. Intelligence Community and prior service in the U.S. Army.

That experience provides Pathfinder with a perspective that combines technical understanding, operational experience, intelligence analysis, strategic leadership, and adversary-focused security.

Throughout his career, Troy has worked alongside highly technical professionals, mission leaders, executives, operators, and decision-makers confronting security problems where the consequences were real.

Pathfinder was created to bring that experience to organizations that may never have access to it internally.
